Highways, vignettes and tolls
Motorways are the highest-ranking highway category in the Czech Republic. The fees are in the form of motorway vignettes that must be purchased for vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tonnes. Vehicles heavier than 3.5 tonnes pay a toll.

All vehicles with four wheels and a maximum weight of 3.5 tonnes have an obligation to purchase an electronic vignette. The obligation does not include towed vehicles and motorcycles. All information on tolls can be found at https://edalnice.cz (also in English).
Liberec is not connected by toll motorway to any of the surrounding towns! In the direction from Liberec to Prague, there is a toll section from Turnov - specifically: the D10: Ohrazenice - Kosmonosy (exits 71-46) and Bezděčín - Stará Boleslav (exits 39-14). Toll road map here.

TOLL CHARGE (vehicle over 3,5 tonnes)
The use of a toll road (motorways and selected toll roads) by a vehicle with the maximum permissible weight of over 3.5 tonnes shall be subject to a toll payment. The vehicle must be equipped with an on-board unit (OBU). The on-board unit is not transferable and its use is bound to a particular vehicle, which is registered in the Electronic Toll Collection System.
